A Bit About David's Digital
Imaging Work David Zinn has been working professionally in the digital imaging industry for over fifteen years: as a retoucher and restoration artist, as a freelance consultant and educator, and as an in-house imaging department manager. Much of his work during this period was done at Colortek, a professional imaging lab in Boston, where he was the head photo retoucher, systems manager, color and pre-press specialist, webmaster, scanner operator, and equipment consultant. In other words, he was "the digital guy." |
| Photoshop, of course, is his main area of
expertise, within which the emphasis has been on making natural and believable
image composites and alterations, prepress scans and color corrections,
as well as restoring and repairing often unbelievably damaged old photos.
In short, he enjoys making images of all kinds look beautiful.
